Calcium Gluconate

Honghui brand Calcium gluconate is white crystalline or granular powder, odorless, tasteless and soluble in boiling water (20g/100ml), slightly soluble in cold water (3g/100ml, 20℃), do not dissolve in organic solvents. Aqueous solution was neutral (pH about 6-7).

Typical applications:Calcium fortifier, nutrition agent, buffering agent, curing agent.
Calcium gluconate is used to prevent and to treat calcium deficiencies.
Also applies to low blood calcium caused convulsions and magnesium poisoning.
As a food additive, it used as a buffering agent, a curing agent, a chelating agent, nutritional supplements. According to the Ministry of Health issued the "food fortifier use of health standards" (1993), and its products can be used for cereals, beverages, at a dosage of 18-38 g /kg.
